you can build a new arena and fund it but you wanna make us pay for bridges i say no way. this is ridiculous.
The way I look at it:
Q: Why are we building new bridges at Spaghetti Junction?
A: To alleviate traffic congestion.
Q: What happens when you set up toll booths?
A: You create traffic congestion.
Q: What is one of Louisville's greatest goals?
A: To attract and keep big businesses that create tax revenue and jobs.
Q: What happens when you charge a toll to all semis bringing in raw
materials and shipping out finished products?
A: You discourage new businesses to come here and create reasons for
existing businesses to leave for more profitable city locations.
